Simply put, this is a medium for me. Although presented to the vast, World Wide Web, I doubt many will invest the time to read it. Those that do, will either not care, or forget everything they read before their browser window is closed. These are my censored thoughts and exaggerated experiences.

I May Die in the Next 5 - 8 Days
So, I'm sitting at my new job right now.
So, far it's not really that bad. The problem is starting to materialize in my mind though.
I work so damn much!
This is my schedule: (Scroll Down... I have no idea why it's doing that....?)
Monday:
12am - 6am
(Job 1)
1pm - 10pm
(Job 2)
Tuesday:
11am - 10pm
(Job 2)
Wednesday:
1am - 10pm
(Job 2)
Tuesday:
11am - 10pm
(Job 2)
Friday:
12am - 10am
(Job 1)
5pm - 10pm
(Job 2)
Saturday:
12am - 12pm
(Job 1)
Sunday:
12am - 12pm
(Job 1)
Yah... so, essentially, I'm going to die in about 8 days. Cause I can't really see any other result from all of this.
IF, I'm able to pull all this off, I'll have some serious cash flow. That'll be nice.
I don't know if I mentioned this be
fore, but this is by no means a permanent thing. I'm likely to drop 'Job 1' the minute this becomes too much to handle. (Like tomorrow)
My new job is interesting. Mainly my days consist of sitting in front of someone else's computer (it took them a bit to get my workstation put together) looking around like a confused kitten. (Not that I, by any mean imaginable, look like a kitten)
Then again, I guess that's wh
at happens to everyone on their first day at a new job.
My Dad emailed me the other day, and his opening line was, "I couldn't handle it any longer..."
LOL!! He was talking about the Jeep. It's sorta funny, I never realized this, but my Dad has become an "eBay Junkie." He loves to browse around on there, looking for little "treasures."
He's found everything from v
ery rare arrow-head collections, to coins for his coin collection. More recently he's found a sexy chrome grill for a Jeep Liberty.
Yah, so that was it... he found
this grille for my Jeep. In addition to being chrome, it has chrome "mesh" in between the "slots" in the grille. It sounds really cool.
I guess that's an image of it. Not sure how exactly close that is to what he purchased, but if you look carefully, you can see that there is mesh between the main 'bars.'
So, that's that. Just working a lot, and trying to keep up with school. (Oh, yah... school is somehow squeezed into that schedule too!!)
Wish me luck... and I'll try to keep up on reading and commenting on your blogs.
It was sort of abrupt. Dirty-Scurty got a job at this new place and casually mentioned that the guy that interviewed him drove up in a Dodge Viper. Well, naturally... if HE drove up in a Viper, that means that if I get hired on there... I'll drive a Viper, right?
lol
Yah, so Dirty told me that there were a few additional openings that could potentially open up... so I thought, "What the hell?"
I called the Viper-Guy, and set up an appointment for 11AM today. I went over the their offices and found that they're actually moving up a few floors into a larger space. This was necessary because apparently they're growing quickly. Good sign if you ask me. :o)
I spiffed up my resume last night and shaved. (the latter being a long time coming) Threw on some "hire-me" clothes and was there on time.
The interview went well. They kept saying things like:
"Wow, you're very qualified." "We may actually have some other openings that you might be more interested in."
So, from where I'm sitting... that looked/sounded pretty good. They were offering a little more money then I'm making now, and possibly less obnoxious hours. Plus, I was going to see if there was any way I could keep my current job AND do this new one.
It was sorta, funny actually, they said that they only had a "night-shift" available. When they mentioned that, my heart kind of sunk. Just cause it would be nice to be coherent during the day for once. So, I was hoping for a regular shift. When I asked what hours specifically they could do, they said, "1pm to 10pm."
LOL, I responded, "That's not a night-shift! I work midnight to noon!.... Now THAT'S a night shift."
They laughed, and I could see that they were relieved that I was ok with their proposed shift.
Well, anyways... they called me while I was taking my "pre-work nap." (yah, yah... laugh it up....) They said that they wanted to "work things out with me" so that I might be able to start on Monday.
Hmmm...
I kick ass.
lol, jk!
So, we'll see... I might have two jobs, and be making a lot more money. I could use it...
So, I'm so excited about this new Jeep, that's like the only thing that I can think about.
I'm such a guy.
Anyways... for the past few days, I've done nothing but drive around pricing a new lift, wheels and tires. My Dad has called me about 10 times with a bunch of his own ideas. So, I guess we're both guys. lol
Anyways... I'm thinking about getting a small little lift, so I can fit 31 inch tires under there, and then I've been pricing some new rims too. I'll EASILY be able to afford everything I want to do with whatever money I get out of selling my 4Runner. It's likely that I'll have a bit of cash left over to go onto my credit card. (ugh... the never ending void of debt)
I'm thinking of getting a chrome grill, and possible a more aggressive bumper/brushguard thing. OF COURSE I'll have to pump up the stereo. hehe...
Exhaust and a cold air intake will come along... in addition to a tint. I think that's the extent of my plans. At least for now. That'll definitely "man it up."
I'm going to look into another job here in the near future. Despite the fact that I like my job... it's still not going to last forever... and frankly I'm getting slightly burned out with the schedule. I mean... I was up at 7:30am this morning..... ahem.... it's my day off!!
My buddy, Dirty-Scurty just got a job, at some new place.... I guess they do web-hosting. I'll check it out... cause I guess they're hiring... Sounds like sweet setup.
Other then that... I'm good.... a little pissed about this new iPod that just came out. Considering I JUST bought an iPod Nano. Damn it! I guess that's technology for you.... always improving right after you invest in something that you think'll be good for awhile.
So, things have been a little out of control for the past few weeks. I don't really have a legitimate excuse other then just things started to build up, and I had to choose something to put on the "back burner" if you will. :o)
So, Yay! I'm back. How's everyone doing? I'll go thru all of your blogs as soon as I get something written down on mine. I know you're all having withdraws. So I'll get right to it.
Everything is about the same as when I last posted. A few things I guess are different.
The girl I've been dating moved away. :o( Not to far away yet... but she's eventually going to be out in the east coast. So, I helped her move. Hmmm... lets see.
School sucks. I'm finding myself, less and less motivated to go to class. I mean, it's seriously really uncomfortable sitting there with my buddy and our teacher.... and that's it. I can't wait for us to get this project actually moving, cause until then, it's like we sit there trying to find things to do / talk about.
I'm getting a new truck. Yes, yes... it's time to retire my 4Runner. I'm going to really miss it. Yah, so I'm weird... and have grown attached to my truck. I'm actually a little sad, cause it's the first vehicle that I've had for a long time. In replacement, I'm getting a Jeep Liberty 4X4.
Initially I was a bit concerned, cause from what I've seen, those SUVs are really that... um...."gnarly." But I'm getting an unreal deal on it, and so it's really hard to turn down. So, after I pretty much accepted it, (My Uncle is selling it to me) I started to surf the web, and found out that there is quite some potential things that can be done to really spice up their performance and appearance. (After-all, I have my uber-cool image to maintain... lol)
So, I'll post some pics when I get them... so you can see what I'm going to be workin' with. In the mean time... I'll post one that I saw that I thought was sorta cool.
So, there you go... that's an idea of one that I liked. Compliments to someone on Car Domain
So, I'm not sure when I'm going to actually get it, but I should be soon. Probably early November. Keep an ear out for anyone interested in purchasing a 1993 Toyota 4Runner 4X4. She's fully loaded, V6, Sun Roof, Power Everything, Keyless Entry, Remote Starter, absolutely ridiculous sound system... Flowmaster Exhaust, K&N Filter.... and only 148,000 miles. It could use some new paint though.
Ok... So, that's going to be the extent of my entry today. Remember, you need to take baby steps after such a long break. I don't want to pull a muscle or something. :o)
I'm a guy in my 30s, that tries to look at life in the simplest way possible. I'm a bit of thinker. I often feel that the world complicates things unnecessarily, and I like to explore those things. Then again, I could be just plain ignorant.
